I hear you. I believe you.
Hi, I’m Jenna!
I am a Physical Therapist, cat lover, wife, recovering perfectionist and total nerd. I love a good glass of wine and have a strong desire to see the world. Most of all I believe that all women deserve to thrive in lives that they design. Pelvic pain? Autoimmunity? Fatigue?
If you are here because life has not been easy, I understand.
I was once in your shoes.
I experienced years of abdominal pain with no answers, a lifetime of irregular periods and hormonal issues and eventually crippling fatigue. I received diagnoses of IBS, chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia before being diagnosed with autoimmune disease.
I understand that it can be incredibly disheartening and disempowering to be given a generic diagnosis with no hope for a cure.
Fortunately there are so many things you can do to empower yourself to live in harmony with your body!
The Timeline
My journey has been shaped by professional curiosity and personal determination.
2014
I began vomiting on a regular basis. My doctor was unable to find a reason. Thankfully my co-worker recommended that I do an elimination diet. I discovered gluten was the culprit and I have not eaten it since.
2015
I graduated from Arcadia University with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I began my career treating an orthopedic population in an outpatient setting.
2015
I began having abdominal pain that did not diminish with dietary interventions. It was discovered that I had a tumor in my abdomen. I spent Thanksgiving of that year in the hospital following surgery to remove it.
2016
I continued to have “unexplained” abdominal pain, along with pelvic and bladder pain. I was given the diagnosis of IBS and told I “might” have interstitial cystitis and PCOS.
2018
I earned the designation of “Orthopedic Clinical Specialist” from the APTA. I continued to work in an Orthopedic setting. I noticed that many of the women that I was treating for low back pain reported that their symptoms began with pregnancy and never went away. I got curious.
2018
I began to struggle with fatigue that limited me on a daily basis. I had my first positive ANA test and was given the diagnosis of “Chronic Fatigue Syndrome” and “Fibromyalgia”. I received the diagnosis of Sjogren’s Syndrome later that year.
2019
I started my first round of AIP (Autoimmune Paleo) diet after being threatened with medication to control my autoimmune disease.
2019
My curiosity about the pelvic floor and lumbar pain led me to take my first pelvic floor coarse. I also started my training with the Integrative Women’s Health Institute with a hope of learning how to heal myself and better help my patients.
2019
I completed the Low Pressure Fitness level one coarse. I also began training in visceral mobilization throughout the Barral Institute. It was through these trainings that I learned the role that both the abdominal wall and viscera could play in both my “stomach” and bladder pain. Slowly with daily practice I began to find relief.
2020
I launched my health coaching practice the second week of March, which was also the week the world shut down! I later left my hospital job to be able to pursue practicing physical therapy in an integrative way. I also became Certified as a Low Pressure Fitness instructor and began hosting both virtual and live classes.
2020
After a year of following AIP my blood work began showing signs of my autoimmune disease heading toward remission. Eventually, it was completely normal!
2022
I launched “The Hypopressive Project” which is my online platform that makes it easy to access Low Pressure Fitness instruction in English!
2023
My autoimmune disease continues to be in remission, my abdominal and pelvic pain is more than manageable and I spend my days helping other women pursue healing for themselves!
You are more than your career.

How my journey began
It all started with mono: I got mono my freshman year of college. Following my “recovery” I began noticing changes in my body including joint pain, fatigue and irregularly long menstrual cycles. Eventually I started having digestive issues that resulted in vomiting on a regular basis. I was able to control the vomiting with diet, but I continued to have abdominal pain.
I was diagnosed with IBS, fibromyalgia, PCOS and chronic fatigue syndrome before being diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome. Currently, I use lifestyle to manage my symptoms and believe that chronic illness is NOT a life sentence for misery.
